Once again, this caravan of an RV and several associated cars is parked by one man illegally every night. Oakland police should be familiar with this situation as he was here for nearly six months straight before being chased away and now he is back with a bigger RV. He's currently running a loud generator continually, all day. (You can see the generator in the image). His van and RV still have no license plates.

The Police is already aware of this but can not enforce because they don't have a mandate from the City to do so. Moreover, just further to the right, across from the church, there's a homeless encampment with a blue tarp in plain sight and has been there for months and nothing is done. So it's not that they don't know or don't see, they just can not do anything about it. Oakland will soon be overrun with these squatters.

Argh. This guy has been cranking a gas generator for 12 hours. The cable to his generator is blocking the bike lane.

Day Two of the generator onslaught. I work at home and meetings are impossible. We called the cops last night, they went over and talked to him: nothing. How can he get away with parking with no plates, wheels in the bike lane, and causing a noise disturbance day after day? This is crazy making.

Please fix, he's parked around a blind turn with the trailer out into the bike lane. I came around it this morning and almost got pushed into fast moving traffic behind me. This is a real danger and needs to be remedied ASAP.

Grey Water???? This is hazardous human waste. I cannot find a single city, county or state agency that is preventing this hazardous crap from going into the water shed, streams, lake and bay.

Not sure why this says this issue is addressed. He's out there right now. Blocking the bike lane, taking up extended parking, no plates, gray water=hazard. I'm sick of the runaround from the city and from this site.

S, yes. All this guy does is to move a couple a feet away everyday. Is there a City Ordinance to prohibit RVs from parking in Public Streets? They are too big, ugly, blocking bike lanes, blocking views, and etc. Can you just imagine if there were a dozens of these RVs parked here? If one can do it, more will come.

Here he is this morning. I believe there is human waste dumping out there. No plates. This is two-hour parking and he's now been here for more than a year. I've called the police, I've called parking, no response. Anyone have any other suggestions?

He's still here, three months later. Calling the suggested number gets me nowhere. Now he has a trailer and an additional car in his collection. It's been nearly a year since these tickets were opened. What's the point of this site if there's never any resolution?

The problem just got worse, now there are two large RV's parked on Lakeshore. The word must got out that the City doesn't enforce besides there's no penalty, not even a parking ticket if they got caught.

How can this be closed? Is it because he moved just a couple of feet? Because there's nothing done, now there's is two large RVs! This one is called the "Dolphin" and the other one is called "Surf Side". They look almost the same but there not. On this issue, the RV is called the "Dolphin".

Why are we complaining??? There's no enforcement. The City doesn't care. We have RVs parking for years at a time and illegal parking in the middle median every weekend with no enforcement. We just wasting are time. Just let it go and go with the flow and let Oakland become a ghetto.

There has to be something we can do. There are 2 RVs now and a ton of cars in the dolphin RV caravan. The city says this is merged with another request but that is some unrelated issue on Seminary. Whyyyyyy can’t we get a response? Has it been a year now? This site is a waste of time and energy. Total BS.

I'm still watching this guy move 20 feet in either direction on Lakeshore. I believe he is running a used car dealership right on the street because his caravan of vehicles changes. Here's the lineup this morning. Yesterday I watched him pike a bunch of trash next to the city can. I believe he is also dumping human waste here, and he continues to encroach on the bike lane. He has been here for OVER A YEAR. Other RVs are starting to follow suit. Why won't the city do anything about the growing RV issue???
