Description

Disabled parking at 1130 3rd Ave. in the small off street parking lot is not enforced. There are constant handicap violators who park in the disabled spots with no placards or disabled license plates. Additionally, people park in the handicap crosshatch zones blocking access to city issued handicap spots. The lot is located directly across from 1155 3rd ave. I spoke to the police department regarding this issue and they advised that the spots are city owned and can therefore be enforced by traffic enforcement. The violations happen mostly in the evening and night hours.
