I’m reaching out to you due to lights being off at random times when we take our kids to play soccer at the soccer field. It’s the time of the year when weather is nice and we like to take our kids for some fun after work but it’s have been difficult since lightning is very bad. We came across a gentleman that was very rude when we asked him why the lights were off so early. He said that lights were going to be off at 8:30 pm, but have not been on for the past two days. We are just wondering the reason and why lights need to be off so early. I’ve noticed that quite a bit of community members like to visit this court which we like and it’s just for the love of sports and our kids.

We are aware that it is the security employee who works at the Oakland sports center who decides when the lights work. We have tried to talk to him but he is very rude, almost racist. We also emailed Rodolfo Dominguez explaining the issue, but no response after two months.

We would appreciate it if you can get back to us regarding this matter. We are also thankful that we have access to this court.
