Description

These potholes are right next to each other. One is giant and the other is a bit smaller. There are several more potholes on our street. The largest one is near 60th and MLK. These potholes have been reported, but nothing is happing to repair them. These need to be fixed. They are hazardous to cars and those swerving to avoid them. What does one have to do to get these fixed? Is there another method besides submitting via seeclickfix.com?

Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. I agree - I've reported these multiple times and no one has come out to even look at them. Hopefully our street will be repaved with 61st!

How is this report closed??? The potholes have not been repaired. City of Oakland did not address this issue. Potholes are still potholes!

I’m leaving another message regarding this report with the actual address. The potholes are not fixed. Also the person on the phone said there wasn’t an address listed but I tagged the street address through the app. How can the city not see the actual address in the report? I can see it in the report listing. The two pot holes are at 734 60th Street and are still in need of repair. Could this fix be reopened?

Chiming in here to say that these are a huge pain. They are both right outside my driveway and nearly unavoidable every time a car comes in or out, causing tons of damage to my car. Please fix them!

WHY is this city of Oakland continuing to close this request when it has NOT been addressed??? This is the second time this has been closed and the pot holes have not been repaired. I listed the exact address they are in front of and the street info. What is going on? I shouldn’t have to keep replying and calling to inform the city that an issue they think has been resolved has not been fixed at all. PLEASE REOPEN and FIX THE POTHOLES.

City of Oakland - this issue is NOT resolved. 60th street is covered in potholes. Please send someone out ASAP and repave our street. Surrounding streets (61st, Dover, 62nd) have all been repaved. We desperately need repavement on our street.
